Okay… I’ve been putting the O’Nail Tornado Dust Extractor through its paces and I think it’s fair to say I’m seriously impressed.
As a nail tech, dust extraction isn’t a glamorous extra — it’s one of those pieces of equipment that actually matters. I want less dust floating around my nail desk, less settling over everything and, most importantly, a cleaner working environment for both me and my clients.
And this little Tornado certainly knows how to SUCK. 😂🌪️
The suction is powerful, it catches the dust brilliantly while I’m filing and I love the 360° design because I don’t feel like I’m constantly having to position the client’s hand over one tiny sweet spot.
It also looks incredibly sleek on my desk, which obviously earns extra SKNN points. 😂
O’Nail states that the Tornado has 360° surround suction, PM1-level filtration and up to a 99.8% dust capture rate — and while I obviously can’t scientifically test those figures in my little garden salon, what I can tell you is that the difference I’m seeing around my workspace is impressive. I previously had the melody susie. Colleagues have all the other big fancy expensive ones and the O Nail nail dust tornado has surpassed all expectations. Suction is superb, it’s quiet, I am not covered in dust. The position of the cable is abit annoying, as is the lip on the top, but it’s not the end of the world.

This machine is amazing!!! I can honestly say it is the best desk top extractor that I have ever used, it makes cleaning up in between client so much easier because my desk and everything on it is no longer covered in dust. Everyone should get one!!!

Great piece of kit. Quite loud on the highest setting, so if you’re looking for something quiet this probably isn’t for you. But, it collects a really good amount of dust compared to my other extractor. I would definitely recommend it!
